Degustórium 2022…
a great holiday for lovers of quality food. On Sunday, May 22, 2022 (from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) in Bratislava’s Old Market. Food made from local, fresh ingredients of the highest quality, grown sustainably, fairly priced. I am very happy and proud that we are part of the Slow Food movement. Their thoughts resonate with me.
We make our fruit wines and vinegars from fruit that we grow organically, that is, without spraying. We don’t even use organic sprays. None. The fruits we buy do not have an organic certificate. They are often small growers for whom such cultivation is close to their nature and do not want to be burdened administratively. Personal experience is important to me here. I am convinced that only organic farming is our future.
We make our fruit wines from fruit, not from concentrates, as the big producers do. Peel each fruit with a slicer, wash by hand. They range from dry to frozen harvests, some of which we produce only in Slovakia.
Our fruit vinegars are “live”, it means they are not heat-treated during the entire production process and are preservative-free. They contain live cultures and therefore have a probiotic effect. Also antiseptic. I recommend using them raw, i.e. e.g. in salads, or in the morning for a spoon, so that your digestion works well. These are not the positive effects of apple cider vinegar, but of “living” vinegars. And we produce exactly such vinegars. Most of them are produced by us alone in Slovakia. They are completely different from balsamic vinegars. They are delicate, but heat-treated already at the beginning of production, they also contain preservatives. You will not find this in our vinegars.
